It’s a big mistake to assume the IRA was or is the only troll factory in Russia. Adrian Chen wrote a great piece for the New York Times in 2015, and there’s a section there where he quotes someone who ran a completely different troll factory, and stated that there were more, and that there were thousands of trolls employed in Russia.

So people look at this handful of indictments from Mueller and think “is that it” (and in fact this was a big part of the right-wing response). No, it isn’t even close to it. It’s the tip of an iceberg.
